Whether you need something for a colourwork project, a cute and stripey number to keep you cozy, or just a single, bright semi-solid to show off your stitchwork, vibrant and versatile Noro Malvinas is your yarn. This 100% merino wool was sourced from La Islas Malvinas in the Falkland islands off the coast of Argentina, and was specially designed to match the gauge and colors of other popular yarns in the Noro family, such as Kureyon, Ito, Silk Garden, Haunui, and Viola, to provide a vibrant semi-solid contrast for fair isle, slip stitch mosaic, stripes, and other colourwork.

Knitters can pair with Ito for the vertical striped Poppy poncho, with Kureyon for the Emily poncho if you prefer a horizontal stripe, or with Viola for the boldly brioche Dahlia shawl. Crocheters can play with multiple colours of Malvinas in the colourful Koko granny circles blanket. All four of these patterns are free with yarn purchase, so let us know in your order notes which one you would like!

The other Malvinas & Malvinas-paired patterns pictured above are available in print in Noro Magazine 21, and these and many more are available digitally here on Ravelry.
