A clever twist of wool, alpaca, and silk provide a sturdy base with a touch of luxury to this vibrantly coloured aran/heavy-worsted yarn. Madara means "speckled" in Japanese; a process of double dyeing allows the base colour to peek through, resulting in a tasteful tweed.

The four debut designs for Noro Madara (shown above) appear in Noro Magazine 19. View yarn and needle requirement, or purchase individual patterns as PDFs, here on Ravelry.
