Urban Yarns (us!) in the Point Grey area of Vancouver, Baaad Anna’s Yarn Store in the Hastings Sunrise area of Vancouver, Black Sheep Yarns in Port Moody, and Valley Yarn in Surrey will host a one-day Yarn Crawl encouraging you to re-visit your fave local fibre haunts to check out what unique in-store specials will be available at each! You may recognize this as Knit City weekend, and we’d love you to support all of the fantastic makers and indie dyers that showcase there (including favourites in stock at Urban Yarns like SweetGeorgia Yarns, Sunday Fibre Co., Puzzle Tree Yarns, Jackass Collective, Firefly Notes and Yarnboler) but as with any good festival, we are adding on to the city-wide yarn merriment!
Keep an eye on this web page and our social media closer to the date as we will post our store’s Crawl-day-only specials, plus the more of the 4 participating Local Yarn Stores you visit on Sept. 26th, the bigger the coupon** you earn for use in October!
**On Friday Sept. 26th, pick up a punch card at the first participating LYS that you visit and get that store's circle punched. Any other participating LYS's you visit that day, get them to punch their circle too. At the end of the day, keep your punch card because it is now a coupon!
