Phillipa begins with a provisional cast on and is worked seamlessly from the shoulders down. The back is knitted to the underarms and then stitches are picked up from the provisional cast on to work both fronts separately top down to the underarm. Fronts and back are then joined to work the body in one piece. The back and sleeves are worked in Stockinette stitch, and fronts are worked separately in Honeycomb stitch. After finishing the body, sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes and sleeve caps are shaped with short rows and the sleeves are worked in the round from the top down.
